Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser

What started as a noble idea has grown into an annual tradition of raising awareness and funds for cancer research, & treatment.

For a decade Paterson Firefighters have been seen wearing and selling T-shirts during the Breast Cancer Awareness month of November.
To date, FMBA Locals 2 & 202 have raised over $75,000. Donating funds to local Charities and causes including St. Joseph's Hospital Breast Cancer Treatment Assistance Fund & St. Joseph’s University Medical Center Foundation

The PFA has also teamed up with St. Joseph's Health in the past, enabling free mammograms and breast exams for Paterson's community.
“In addition to being firefighters we are also sons & daughters, husbands & wives, brothers & sisters. There are not many of us that haven’t been touched by breast cancer, this is our way of fighting back against it, and making good on our commitment to the community.”
